Post Closer/Settlement Processor

We are looking for a motivated team member to fill a new position as a Post Closer/Settlement Processor in our settlement services department. The duties include funding of files after closing, cutting checks, initiating outgoing wires, receipting funds into the system, sending out final package, preparing documents for recording, and offering administrative support across the organization.  The duties and responsibilities of this position are to ensure the company is represented professionally and positively, and all tasks are completed with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests when they visit the office
  • Manage multiple email accounts
  • Manage incoming phone calls professionally, accurately, and efficiently
  • Produce reports using Microsoft 360/windows 10
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Disbursement of settlement files after closing
  • Properly distribute final closing package
  • Prepare documents for recording
  • Prepare file for final title policy to be issued
  • Verify wire instructions

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience associated with loan documents and/or settlement transactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360/Windows 10
  • Proficient in excel, word, adobe, power point,
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (scanners and printers)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • High school diploma

Licensed Title Insurance Underwriter
